MENA Student Forum presents: Syria Awareness Week
March 15, 2017 marked the six year anniversary of the Syrian conflict. An estimated 4.9 million people have fled Syria, filling refugee camps in neighboring countries, and another six million remain displaced inside Syria's borders. The complex situation remains nowhere near resolved. As foreign intervention increases, people continue to suffer, and the country's future remains uncertain. Syrian lives must take priority over political interests.
MENA Forum is hosting Syria Awareness Week to shed light on the ongoing political and humanitarian crisis that is too often overlooked given domestic concerns in the U.S. We hope you will be able to join us.
